Canada is second to Russia with respect to its size in the world. It shares its border with America only. Canada, one of the richest countries of the world, attracts a large number of tourists every year.

It comprises of 10 provinces and 3 territories. The provinces of Canada are British Columbia, Ontario, Saskatchewan, Quebec, Alberta, Manitoba, Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island, New Brunswick, Newfoundland, and Labrador. The three territories are Nunavut, Northwest Territories, and Yukon.
If you reach Canada by flight you would, in all probability, land up in Montreal, Vancouver or Toronto. You can also enter Canada from the US by car, but it won’t be hassle-free. You could also use the train or bus service to reach Canada from the US Intra-country traveling will be highly comfortable if you travel by plane. You could also check out the bus and train services.

    They say there are few places in the world where you can get a good night’s sleep in a cave and Cappadocia in Turkey is one of them. The landscape is visually stunning and the most popular way to enjoy the scenery is by taking a hot air balloon ride. The region’s landscape was formed around 30 million years ago when volcanic activity covered it with ash. Hence, it is a land of plains as well as rugged mountains and volcanoes.     The Colosseum is an amphitheater located in Ancient Rome. Although other similar amphitheaters 
    were constructed around this time, the Colosseum was the largest ever built. Commissioned by the Emperor Vespasian, the monument was completed by his son Titus.

    The place on which it was constructed was actually the site of Nero’s palace. A huge bronze statue of Nero was set near the monument in the second century A.D. The Colosseum has around 80 arched entrances. It was used as a venue for entertainment, including battles of the gladiators, animals, and public executions.
    The arena had a huge wooden floor coated with sand. The subterranean passages were composed of a series of tunnels that were used for the entry of the wild beasts used in the fights in the arena. Some of the tunnels were also used to store equipment used during the fights.
    The slaves, prisoners of war or sentenced criminals generally became Roman gladiators. A majority of them were male. All people irrespective of their class, whether rich or poor, attended these combats. Even the Emperor frequently attended these fights. So many contests were held in a single day that if the ground got drenched with blood, fresh sand was poured over the surface and the fights carried on.
    As gladiators fought, vicious cries and curses were heard from the audience around the Roman Colosseum. These games were put to a halt when Christianity progressively influenced the rulers to stop the parts of the contests which involved loss of human life.
    The structure has become iconic of Rome, and is visited by tourists from around the world. Many visitors take guided tours inside the Colosseum to learn about the events that took place there.
    The Arch of Constantine (Arco di Costantino) was built to commemorate the victory of Constantine over Maxentius at Pons Milvius. This 25-meter high structure was built in 315 AD.

    The Eiffel Tower (La Tour Eiffel) is one of the iconic structures in the world, visited by over 7
     million people annually, making it the most visited paid attraction. The Eiffel Tower is named after the engineer Gustave Eiffel, whose organization designed and constructed the tower. He also designed the framework of another popular monument – the Statue of Liberty.     Visitors can take the stairs or elevator up to the three levels of observation decks and restaurants in the tower for great views of Paris. The two restaurants in the tower are Le 58 Tour Eiffel and Le Jules Verne. The Eiffel Tower is a world famous landmark that can be seen from all around Paris.
    There are around 1,665 steps that lead to the top of the tower. Alternatively, the elevators installed in the tower may be used to reach the top of the tower. There are several lifts in the tower. One of the lifts goes up to the second floor from the ground floor. Two sets of Duo-lifts connect the second floor to the top. There are five more lifts in the tower, one on each pillar and one private lift that leads to the

    There are three levels in this iron lattice tower for public visits. The third level observatory’s upper platform is at a height of 279.11 m (915.7 ft). You have to climb 300 steps to reach from ground level to the first level. To reach the second level, you have to climb 300 steps from the first level. The third and the highest levels also have stairs, but the public can only access these levels by lift.
    The tower has become one of the prominent landmarks of Paris and has also been featured in many movies.
    Christmas is the most beautiful time to visit the Eiffel Tower. While the entire city of Paris shines in the Christmas light and the tower sparkles bright at night, this picturesque destination seems magical. Moreover, the seasonal ice skating rinks are installed in Paris during Christmas.

They decoded the intecepted messages exchanged between al-Qaeda operatives and Ali M, the 29-year-old butcher which revealed that the Jihadists plot to blow the Eiffel Tower and Louvre.
